There seems to be a growing trend of unhappiness in the workplace in the 21st Century. Many critics argue that today’s ‘Millennials’ and ‘Zoomers’ (typically the 18–35 age category) have unrealistic career goals and expect too much from the workplace, however, if we consider a simple theory like Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs (1), is this really the case?
